This stand just a wee bit proud of the table top. I cleaned out the recess, and it’s still just a bit thick. Make sure to cut the slot a little bit wider so the blade doesn’t rub (and squeal when it does).

They are a tight fit , but they fit. So much better than being loose.

Works with my delta 14 in bandsaw. I tried others before purchasing this one, that didn’t fit.

5 stars for quality and price but will not fit Bs14002 without some work.1- These are 0.009" too large in diameter - file and sand to fit.2- The key is wrong. File off the bump and file an indent.3- Thin the curved area on bottom side so it can sit down in hole.4- On my saw the whole thing was proud. File the edge thinner until it sits flush. If you can't find the right ones for this saw these can work. Sounds like alot of work but it only took about 15 min. to do.

I have an old Delta/Rockwell bandsaw, which has the blade a bit offset from the center of the insert. So, to keep the kerf line within the thinner portion of the insert, I had to twist it a bit to go from one corner of the thin portion to the other. It's a bit hard to explain until you see it. But it worked fine. You may have to sand down the leading edge of the insert as it's built to be a little larger than the space (which probably makes sense). I hammered mine in and it still had a bit of a lip all around, which is why I had to sand down the leading edge so material didn't get caught on the front of the insert. Recommended, but not exactly perfect for my saw.

These were my first zero clearance inserts. I had to trim the diameter to fit into the saw's opening, but that is not too much of an issue and easier than the metal ones I bought. You also have to cut the slot in the insert. This is best sone on a fine tooth blade, or you might be able to do it with a razor knife Once fit, the work flawlessly. I was able to resaw 1/8 in panels with no issue when using this insert

I used these on a 61 year old Delta 14” bandsaw. As others have noted, they require some fiddling to fit. They also detail how to trim them for a good fit. Since I lack patience, I simply cut a kerf for the blade and pounded them in with a small rubber mallet. Worked perfectly and they sat tight due to the forced fit. To remove, I simply tapped from below using a dowel. I used these with a dust collector and it worked well and left almost no sawdust in the base. Only other thing I would note is that for resawing, widen the kerf just a bit since the side of the holder will scrape a bit of sawdust off the blade leaving it on the table it it’s too close to the blade. Once I widened the kerf about 1/32, problem solved.

My 25 year old Delta 52-963 is a 14" bandsaw. The original insert is die cast and broke. These plastic inserts are better.I had to cut the slot for the blade on a different saw.It would be too dangerous to cut the slot on the big bandsaw.Once the sawdust is cleared out of the insert hole, the slitted insert can be pounded in with a soft hammer. There was some insert protrusion with my saw. I scraped the plastic flush with a Bahco 665 scraperhttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000288LP6This gets the insert within 0.0001" of flush with the cast iron bandsaw table.
