This portable yarn holder is okay. There were corners cut, like how the laser cut doesn't line up with the colors. The wood isn't sanded so my yarn snags against all the edges. This style of yarn holder has a rounded bottom, so it doesn't work well resting on a table. My photo is with a 200g/7oz cotton yarn and it is too big so my yarn tends to fall off the bottom, so best with 100g/3.5oz balls.The hardware is easy to attach and otherwise works to rotate as you work. This is a yarn holder to see if this type of product works for you, use it till it breaks or get annoyed at it, and then get a better quality one.

What a clever idea and they are really nice. A little concerned how my daughter will get it through the yarn without braking it but I’m sure she will figure it out.
