The products okay? It took me a while to get my hand in the right position. To even check my jewelry, the battery. It seems to run out pretty quickly. So make sure you do have the 9v battery on hand. I was just saying this product was OK. It helped me do what I needed to do. And that was check some items of mine .

I have previously owned one of these. They work well, but you need to carefully protect the tip. I purchased this one as a spare because the price was rediculously low.

Not accurate, seemed to think everything was either a diamond or fake. Could be both.

It works but I with the results weren't so temperature testy I know it's just the way their done but I just wish it were easier to make sure the test was don't correctly and would I recommend it I guess if their was a different way to test I would go with that but the product works fine. So I would buy it if you need one.

overall does what its supposed to do, tested it on 2 separate rings of mine one with diamonds, and one with cz (cubic zirconia).Only complaint I have is it is confusing to use and also very difficult to get a proper read on small stones. So I would recommend going to a jeweler to get something checked if your gonna spend a lot of money it, that being said with some practice and steady hands it is still great to have to test jewelry.
