I am an avid biker and a very experienced mechanic. This lube is terrible. It doesn't even lubricate the chain. I cleaned my chain, made sure it was 100% dry and then used this lube. It went on okay then went for a ride and heard that awful grinding noise of a dry chain. Came home and promptly threw the rest of this lube out and the chain as well. Put a new chain on with different lube and drive train was all nice and quiet.***DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIN LUBRICANT IT DOES NOT WORK***

This dry bike chain lube is fantastic. But I recommend that you apply it outside.Instead of liquid lube options that can, over time, get gummy, this dry lube material goes on easily and doesn't tend to gum things up.It's also small enough to fit easily in a day trip backpack with the rest of your gear.5 stars

I applied this lube to one of my mountain bikes, and my gravel bike. In both cases, I'm very pleased.Impressions:1. Applies very easily, and dries fast.2. There's very little "filming" to my chains after the lube dries.3. Both chains have remained fairly quiet.4. For a dry lube, both of my chains have stayed as visibly clean as is reasonable to expect.5. Protection of the chains has been excellent.6. Longevity is as advertised.Overall:There's very little I can think of as a downside to this dry lube. I've used several premium brands of dry lube, and this is among the best.Highly recommended5 stars

We've got some serious cash invested in our trail bikes, and like to take care of them after dusty rides. That includes cleaning and lubing the chain. Here's the thing... how do you decide to trust a new product? I tried this as a test... I used this lube first on a telescoping golf ball retrieval pole. It goes in the water, has tight fittings around each section, and needs to slide completely out and in. You know, it just didn't feel as smooth and lubricated as I was hoping, certainly not as much as a wet lube. I just don't know whether I can trust in on my Santa Cruz. I guess I'll try it out on a "less serious" bike, but that bike isn;t used on long-distance trail rides. What to do, what to do...

I cycle commute on roads, sidewalks, dirt paths, railroad tracks and gravel parking lots. I often get my bike covered in mud because of puddles. The predominant dirt here is a beige sandy powder. It gets into chains quickly and makes them grind. I used this Poly Trex on a brand new 29" MTB I started riding two week ago. The chain is still like new when it comes to spin. It's not super clean but it's still lubed and working and that's great. By comparison, I cleaned a chain and put White Lightning Semi Dry on a different bike that I use on days I need to carry my laptop and in the same time span the chain is all crunky again.Given my dusty environment and my riding habits, I will go with this neat PolyTrex from now on.I suggest getting a chain cleaner tool. It makes a world of difference when it comes to cleaning a chain and gears.

I am very happy with this product . I have noticed an improvement with my Pedaling . With this Product I have no resistance at all I can feel in my Pedaling. Plus, I am seeing my Chain remains clean too !I am actually riding faster with this Chain Lube ! Ease of Pedaling and ease of acceleration I noticed very vividly !This product actually exceeds my expectations ! I am very very happy because this Lube is far better than my previous Lubes ! Richard
