I got these for the 'photography' aspect of 'eliminating glare / reflections / shine' on product photo's.The idea being that I could stick one infront of an item in a light box and eliminate the very obvious reflection of the LED ring shining down on it.Sadly they just didn't really work. Like another review mentioned - a polarizing sheet should interact with a similar sheet turned at 90' to completely elminiate light going through it. Testing these, no such thing happened. It's darker, sure, but I'm beginning to wonder if these are polarized at all, or simply 'grey plastic sheets'.In the photos provided, the area where the two sheets overlap should be near black. Likewise, there's really no noticeably difference in 'glare' from the LED reflection on the white box when compared with the polarized side and the non.Maybe I'm doing it wrong, maybe my high school physics from 40 years ago is out-of-date, but these just didn't work for me.

These are not polarizing all of the light coming through completely. When compared to glass filters, not even close, but its enough with both layers of film for my needs. I'm polarizing a light source to remove glare in 3d scanning, I thought the film might be an inexpensive solution but it's marginal for this.

Picture this: You've just gotten a new webcam and you've set it up. You think you're ready for video calls or streaming, only to find that the screen reflects in your glasses, making it impossible to see your eyes. This film fixes that. All you have to do is cut off a small piece, rotate it so the polarization matches your screen, and stick it onto your camera. All of that nasty glare is gone now. It sticks on strongly and works beautifully. I can happily recommend this film.

These Polarizing Filters (2PCS, 7.8x11.8 inches) are an excellent choice for customizing G-Shock watches. The adhesive-backed, linear polarized film sheets are easy to cut and apply, making them ideal for modifying LCD screens. The quality is great, providing clear polarization effects without distortion. If you're looking to enhance or customize your watch display, this is the best option!

I use these with LED lights for creative studio photography in addition to a polarizing filter on the lens. This method is known as cross polarization. This effectively cancels out all glare and deepens colors substantially. At 13 USD, I feel the price is very reasonable. I would order this again.

The listing says these are for LCD screens, but also for photography and lighting. I got them for photography to go over lights so I could use a polarizer on the camera to reduce reflected glare when doing copy stand photography. But when i take the two sheets and turn them at right angles they don't properly cross polarize. They should go almost completely black when you try to look through them when they are cross polarized, but they don't.I'm not sure what is going on with these since they seem to be primarily made for LCD screens. Is it the adhesive film interfering with the polarization? I don't need the adhesive since I can't stick this directly to my lights, but these were sold for lighting and photography so they should should work, but aren't working like I expect they should.

The two polarizing sheets that arrived in a box were bent up and rumpled (see photos.) I didn't attach the filter material to a device so I am reporting the performance I was able to determine by simply looking through the filters. The filters do reduce some glare in room objects when rotated accordingly. Crossing the filters (see photo) reveals that there is only partial light blocking, perhaps amounting to 4 f-stops. Generally, crossed polarizing filters should be visually almost black, so I assume that the density of polarizing of these filters is intermediate and intended just for devices and screens. Nevertheless just reporting what I observe. These will probably work for some people but because the filters were damaged I did not use them on devices.

With the right polarization, you can make your computer screen disappear, and with crossed polarizers, you can blot out the sun. I am working on a good use case for the adhesive aspect, but these are definitely fun to experiment with!
