Just bought this cable a month ago and now it's broken. Can't believe it only lasted a month. I definitely want my money back. No cheap replacement .

This is OEM quality, looked and performed just like the factory part.Perfect fit.Took just a couple minutes to install and my mower is back to being self propelled. And it was the least expensive one I could find. Highly recommended!

Perfect fit; looks like good quality; cable ties included; priced right.Installation is straightforward but fiddly; a small mirror and light are a big help. If the old cable broke at the base of the spring (most likely case), do the following:1. Remove the bolt and nut that attach the throttle control to the handle (you'll need two 10mm wrenches). This will free up the clutch cable from the clamp that holds it to the handle.2. Cut the two cable ties that hold the clutch cable to the handle; leave the other ties alone.3. DRAIN THE OIL; otherwise you'll foul the air filter and make a big mess. Trust me on this one.4. Turn the gas line valve to "off" (vertical) and seal the tank by screwing the cap down over a plastic bag (like a food storage bag) as a gasket. Pull the spark plug wire off the plug.5. Turn the mower on its left side; put it up on a table if at all possible to improve visibility and access.6. Remove the rear baffle - four 10mm bolts, one on the outside. Heads are probably covered in grass; wire-brush it off.7. Pull the old cable through the grommet of the mower deck and fish the new one through it. If the grommet comes out, make sure you put it around the cable so you can reinstall it later.8. Here's where the mirror and light come in handy. Loosen but do not remove the T20 setscrew holding the barrel of the old cable; work the cable out of its clamp, and switch the little U-shaped retainer plate from the old cable to the new one. Don't reinstall yet.9. Pull the clutch lever on the transmission forward using a hook tool or loop of coat-hanger wire, then rotate the old cable's connector (the one with the rectangular slot) off the clutch lever.10. Rotate the new cable's connector on to the clutch lever. This may be easier to do by touch; your hands will block your view.11. Reinstall the U-shaped retainer plate with the new cable barrel (flat part to top of mower) and tighten the T20 retaining screw (not too tight!).12. Reinstall the mower-deck grommet if necessary.13. Reinstall the rear baffle. Leave the bolts loose until they're all in the threads, then tighten.14. Put the mower back up on its wheels.15. Make sure the cable has a clear path up the handle, and hook the spring to the clutch bail handle.16. Reinstall the cable clamp and throttle control, tight enough to hold the cable but don't crank it down yet.17. PUT THE OIL BACK IN and check the level. Open the gas-line valve. Reattach the spark plug.18. Start the mower and fiddle with the cable's position at the clamp until you get it right. "Right" means the mower starts moving when the clutch bail handle is 6mm away from the main handle. This minimizes stress on the cable but still allows you to mow with the bail handle tight to the main handle.

This part fit very nicely on my Honda mower. It’s a little longer than the factory part, so make sure you clamp it down in the right place. It’s high quality and is very sturdy. I recommend it.
