My kids love playing with this, and they're not little kids! Seriously, folks, this is fun for all ages. Teens, young adults, middle-agers, and grandparents alike all enjoy them!

This was my first ever Plus Plus set. The color of the pieces was consistent, and I didn't have any broken pieces. I didn't verify the count, but it seemed like there was an even amount of all six colors.I decided to try making a bit of 2-d art inspired by The Great Wave as this set intended. I was quite pleased with the final result.Minor gripes: I didn't love the texture of the pieces; they aren't totally smooth like Lego bricks. They are a softer plastic which makes me worry that down the road they'll develop a thin layer of white film as other softer plastics sometimes do.The tube was also quite hard to open. It appeared to just be a tight fit, but it was difficult to pull the cap out of the tube. You don't get that many pieces for the price. It isn't like we are getting a variety of molds or anything painted. I 300+ piece Lego set might be $10 more, but then you're getting a variety of pieces that are larger and use more plastic.Overall, it is a decent product, and the pieces fit together well. If it looks interesting, give it a shot.

Love the colors. Definitely pulled from the Wave palette.Soft-feel plastic, not hard like other building bricks. Not wood. It's a good piece feel.My wife likes the idea of these to fidget with while mulling over her work projects. The kiddo just likes the single block build-ability to fool with, mostly a break from the major interlocking Brick brand, being outside, or the limited screen time.Very solid, connect nicely without being stuck.

The kids are very creative with these. I never would have realized so much could be made out of them. Highly recommend buying!

I got this for my daughter because I thought it was actually designed for you to build an iteration of Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". Turns out I was wrong. It is simply a set of building blocks "inspired by" Hokusai's famous work, meaning only that the blocks' colors are reminiscent of the colors from the work of art. That's a very loose tie-in to the art in my opinion, so I was a bit disappointed. Still, these blocks are fun for kids. We've had several sets of them over the years and my kids have always enjoyed them. They're a great way to pass the time constructively on road trips too. Overall a fun time-tested building toy that is only very slightly related to the Great Wave.

Do these pieces look familiar? Lorraine crosses, H Blocks, Anks and more. The shape of these pieces is fungible and durable. Creating The Great Wave from these blocks is it art, architecture, engineering, problem solving, art appreciation? Or is it just brilliant?
