Great quality, seemed like they were 3D printed. Just didn't fir on the roof type we have. Even after some roof ridge mods, they came off with the first heavy snowfall.

The description says that the set screws were provided but I received NONE. The drill taps in the guards look sketchy like the process was rushed. I can't tell if the threads are usable or not since the set screws were not provided. I ordered these hoping to get them installed before the snow flies. I've got 2 decent days of weather before our first storm comes in this weekend. THANKS!

They seem sturdy enough. Will see how they perform this winter.

Easy to install on standing seam metal roofing. Stops the snow from sliding onto my sidewalks. Worked so well I ordered a second set.

I first purchased these for my shop, a 28x32 building in central MN. They've been on for multiple years now with no issues to speak of aside from one slipping, which, could have been an installation issue. Now, I'm installing them again on my new house - so ive probabky order 250+ over the years. My only complaint, and the reason for the 4 star review, is that more directions would be nice. There are similar products that offer more guidance, which I used in my installation, but I understand there may be other considerations to be weighed by the manufacturer in providing expanded or detailed guidance.

Theses snow guards are not easy to install. When tightening the set screws the guards tend to “walk” up the seam. You must push down hard on the guard and slowly tighten the set screws alternatively until they are all the way in.The set screws are stainless steel, they won’t rust, BUT, when tightening the screws, the paint is scratched off the standing seam of the roof, so, the roof will rust where the paint was scratched off. There should be vinyl tabs on the end of the screws to prevent them from scratching the paint off. Not exactly the best design.

While these are made of plastic, they are extremely solid and durable and won’t rust. They were also easy to install, and they add some pizazz to the roof line.

High quality and sturdy plastic. Looks like they should work great. Trying to stop the snow and ice from sliding down on my deck and injuring my dogs and us.
