I have had my septum piercing for over 20 years. I lost count on the various styles, materials, etc.I purchased 2 of these in “clear”. I’ll be ordering more.This is amazing for medical imaging you can’t wear metal, for professional situations you can’t have jewelry, etc.this product was easy to put on (I washed it first) and it stays in very well even when running and moving around:

This is a great alternative if you’re needing to hide your septum piercing. At first it was hard putting in but the trick is to push my nose up like a pig to get easier access to the hole.I have tried the septum retainers and I can’t even get it in the hole.I know I was sleeping crazy last night. I lost it, so now I am ordering another one.

Bought this just to wear for a couple hours while I got an MRI. Worked great. Was a little hard to put in because it was so flimsy but otherwise it was exactly what I needed!

This works for what I need it for! Keeps the space in my nose and is easy to put in. HOWEVER, it is extremely flexible, which seems great, but it comes out very easily. If you sleep on your stomach or side, or move around a lot at night be warned. I have woken up countless times with it out of my nose, and then I have to search all over my bed and the floor to find it. I’ve also had times where I would blow my nose and the spacer comes out with ease. I would buy 2, in case you lose one you can wear the other until the first one shows back up.

I suddenly became allergic to a septum ring I was wearing and wanted to get something simple to keep the hole open while I waited for my body to heal. I have used glass retainers before when I had surgery, but never a flexible one like this. I found it a bit difficult to insert the first time as it bends very easily. I find that it is easy to bump out of my nose if I am blowing or wiping it, but I haven't had issues with it coming out while sleeping or exercising. It is comfortable to wear and I don't really notice it is there.

I never liked taking out my septum piercing cus just getting it was a little traumatizing haha (didn't hurt but felt very uncomfortable) so I didn't like the feeling of removing it, but I needed a retainer for some work-related stuff so I caved. I was always worried if it would be hard and feel Not Great to insert a retainer, but this one is very flexible and went through with no fuss so I am now less afraid of needing to remove my piercing and using the retainer

I bought this to use for a surgery. This is way too flimsy and floppy for me to get it through and the curved ends made it very difficult to insert. Ended up tossing it in the trash. I've used other retainers just fine that were a stiffer material.

Do not buy this. I ordered the clear plastic one but instead got a cheap metal ring with a bee on it
