My mom bought a lot model modular home. It was made quick and cheap and has been the hardest thing to find stuff to repair of fix things. I searched many places to find these and these for perfectly! I have cleaned the old ones and they weren't sealing right and hard to turn even when lubricated. These turn nice and easy and seal. Great find.

Easy to replace the old with the new. 3/4inch deep socket. We used a socket that is usually for spark plugs. Be careful when removing the plastic spacers after you've taken the knobs off. This kit doesn't come with replacement spacers. We replaced the knobs with new ones as well. Reason for replacing: screws had rusted out and broken off in the old ones so the knobs eventually stripped and spun freely without the screws holding them. Couldn't put new knobs on because of the old screw being broken off.

These buggers are nearly impossible to find. If you have a older Palm Harbor manufactured home, these are direct replacements for just about every faucet in the house (with the exception of the kitchen which is Moen faucet). They didn't come with instructions but the install was simple too. Shut off your water supply and open another faucet in the bathroom where your replacing the stems to relieve the pressure. Then simply remove the handle, use caution to remove the plastic retainer as after 15 years they can become brittle, remove the black lock washer by turning it 1/8 turn, use a deep socket to remove the stem and bonnet. Make sure your threads inside the faucet is nice and clean by using compressed air or a little bit of WD40. Thread the new stem and bonnet on and replace the handles. If your handles are falling apart or are old and glazed from hard water deposits, order some new ones along with these, Phoenix PF287015 handles fit and they're only a few more dollars and make the old faucets look just like brand new again.Bottom Line: If you don't want to rip out drywall to replace your leaky shower faucets in your manufactured home, invest the money to replace the stem and bonnets and handles. I replaced 4 tub/shower faucets in my home and it took about 10 minutes per tub/shower.

Nice that these are available, but there's a problem. Apparently the 41-5 part has been replaced with the 43-5 part. The packaging still says 41-5, but the brass part has 43-5 on it.The only difference is that for the 43-5 set both valves tighten to the right, rather than getting a set of one tightening to the right and one to the left. Oh well, had to re-use one of my corroded old left side part and swap the washers. I should add these are on fixture with lever handles on a claw foot tub. I guess if you have those clear round plastic knobs it would be no big deal.
