I ordered this to replace the worn out band on my old Tactikka headlamp. It's a slightly different buckle type and at first glance it did not look like it was going to work since there wasn't an obvious way to open up the band and thread it through the bracket on the lamp. If you look closely one of the two buckles on the headlamp has a center post that you can push out and once you do that you can un-loop the band from the buckle and attach it to your headlamp.
