I got a second kitten which means I have to figure out their food situation. This was the PERFECT solution. It fits great and I’m pleased with it!

I can’t thank you enough for helping my cats food anxiety. He’s set up on a schedule now and seems much calmer. He knows it’s coming and waits by the feeder. He still gets restless but much better knowing he’s getting fed in early hours which I’d rather be sleeping! 😴

We stoped using this when we got a kitten who was on different food. Nows that he’s grown up and started eating regular food we wanted to use it again. It’s a great add on for a fair price considering you don’t have to buy a whole new feeder! It’s not perfect for splitting the food evenly but let’s be real they don’t care and won’t stick to a side anyway! Highly recommended and have been happy with this brand! So are they!

I picked up the PetLibro "Granary" automatic pet feeder with built-in camera some time back, but decided that between my "big boy" can and his littler sister, I really needed more than one bowl to prevent them from fighting over access when I feed them. So, I upgraded my feeder with this device. The alternative was to get a second feeder, and that seemed sort of like overkill. My reason for wanting the feeder is for those times when I have to take short business trips... just a few days... and prefer not having to have a petsitter come to my home or having to board my pets. I've made sure I have plenty of feeding and watering options available. The "Granary" feeder is definitely my preferred feeder, though I have both open bowls and another auto-feeder as well, so I can be sure that they won't starve during a few days' absence. (Water availability is a bit more complex, but I've dealt with that too.)What I really like about "camera feeders" is that I can talk to them, I can hear them (they "talk" to me, too... though I have yet to figure out exactly what their "words" mean!), and can watch them as they eat, and can also see the bowls, so I can tell if they're full or empty, and I can actually control the device remotely (skipping servings if the bowls are still full, or dispensing additional food if they're empty). There are a couple of issues I'd like to see addressed in future versions of this. Mainly, associated with the "portion apportionment" setting. I'd really like to be able to independently control, remotely, just how much food goes into each side. Either by an internal "shutter" over each of two food chutes, or a method of rotating the "diverter vane" on the food tray itself. The "diverter vane" is what allows you to control the total amount of food dispensed on the right or left bowl. Shift it further one way, and more food goes into that bowl... shift it the other way, and more goes into the other bowl. Unfortunately, this isn't especially well-calibrated... getting equal amounts requires the vane to be offset considerably!... and so the only way to really evaluate the "mix" is through testing... trial and error.So... being able to move the vane in real-time, remotely, would allow issues in feeding to be resolved even when you're away. And even better, having dual chutes would allow very precise feeding... even shutting one bowl off completely, or providing metered amounts into each. But both of those solutions drastically increases the complexity (and thus cost) of the device, so I can make due with this solution for the foreseeable future. For now, building that solution would result in a product more expensive than two of these are, after all!I'm really very happy with this, but I AM dinging it by a single star for the difficulty of adjusting the "diverter vane" to get the amounts of food you want into each of the two separate bowls. That is something that they could improve, without really increasing the overall product cost, I think. It just requires a bit more R&D time, and an improved "chute" design. Ah, well... maybe next years' model!

Die not work as intended. Would kam up more often than not. Went back to a single bowl instead.

I had to drill holes through the bottom of the holders to push the bowls out.

This MultiFeederTray itself isn’t the problem, but because it just has a cheap divider in the middle, the portions aren’t properly divided in half. After dozens of trials and errors, I found that the amount dispensed is inconsistent and imprecise due to the shape and weight of the food. I feel like it’s not suitable for small kittens or puppies that eat around 10g at a time. However, I do think this machine is an excellent auto-feeder for single-pet use.

This works for my two kittens, they don't headbutt each other out the way for food anymore and I dont have to get another dispenser, you do need to play around with the portion separator for the right amount of kibble of two.

I bought this attachment for my current feeder in preparation of adopting a second kitty soon. After assembling and attaching, the portion sizes no matter how many times I tested were not equal, way more than the 3% notice in their description. I made sure the divider was set all the way to the right until it couldn't move anymore, and it was still not equal. It was significantly more noticeable when larger portions were dispensed at once.Another design flaw is the part that attaches to the spout of the dispenser also causes kibble crumbs to fall into the crevices. Unlike their single bowl attachment which sits completely under the spout, this one does not. So for the single bowl attachment, all the kibble falls into the bowl including the crumbs. For the double bowl attachment, the crumbs constantly build up in the crevices because the bowls do not sit under the spout but rather in front of it.I feel these issues could easily be modified and improved. With the divider, I feel if it was a bit longer and had more flexibility to move more to the right, it could solve the issue with unequal portions. In addition to having us choose whether the right or left bowl gets more food as well. I'm not sure why they designed it in such a limited way. Regarding the kibble crumbs, I feel they could either modify the design for the bowls to sit closer to the spout or the part that attaches to the bottom of the spout actually sits underneath. Because of these design flaws, I had to return it.

This is a great addition to the PLAF203 model (the camera model) that we have for our two cats. I couldn’t find info online if this food splitter would fit and ordered it on chance that it would. It fits perfectly! Now our cats each have their own bowl. Also…the stainless steel bowls on this splitter release a lot easier than the original one that came with it, as there is no lip. Bowls are heavy weight, not flimsy. Does exactly what it’s advertised to do…splits food drop into the two bowls. Very satisfied with our purchase
