This use to have a nice stinky smell to it that drove dogs crazy and it worked amazingly good. Now it barely has a smell and the dogs that I train are not interested in it at all. Disappointed. I hope they Go back to the way it was before.

I have a 7 year old female fixed dachshund who was adopted from a rescue. She has not done any scenting/hunting classes, as I am working on basic obedience training at home with her. I purchased the squirrel scent hoping that it would increase her interest in her stuffed squeaky toys. She definitely shows interest in wild animals (pigeons on the street, squirrels and other small creatures we encounter on hikes), so I thought this would be a safe way to give her a little thrill and increase interest in her toys. She is currently more of a ball/fetch/chew toys enthusiast, so I wanted to see if the scent would add allure to the stuffies. I placed a few small drops on the wings of her dragon stuffed toy, and while she spent a bit of time sniffing that area up close, she did not chew, chase, or generally play with the toy at all. When I smelled the area, I couldn't smell anything at all so if you are worried about this product stinking up your house, no worries there. Perhaps my dog is just not one for squirrel chasing, perhaps the product was not strongly scented enough - I am not sure.

Trying something new training beagle pups to tree squirrel rather than the classic use of rabbits. They are only 12 weeks and they are already starting to pick it up. They started working with the scent for about 1 1/2 weeks now... This product is proving itself to be a great training aide. Thanks for the great product. And a little goes a long ways.

My dog goes crazy for this. It works. It lingers so use sparringly and be careful where you put it. I spilled some on the kitchen counter and my dog still goes "chasing" at the corner... Lol! Very neat, thank you!
