I really really really wanted to like this one because it has two top clips which helps for longer dogs and there’s a ton of support, both for the dog and you. Love that it has the front straps for extra support for you too. The issue….. the top of it won’t tighten to the extent it needs to. The bottom does, but the top is like double the amount so the dog just is leaning way too far forward to an uncomfortable position for you and them. If the top parts could be changed and they made them with less material so it can be cinched more this would be 5 stars.

Well made product. I wanted to love this but my 10lb Shih Tzu would not have it.

My dog felt comfortable in this. You can place it on the front or back. I feel this was a good purchase for the price.

My dog is a tripod schnoodle, so it's tricky... This backpack is the best so far. At least he doesn't complain. It isn't that great for very long walks, though. He is 16 lbs.

I got this because my dog is stubborn and likes to sniff everything. So, if we are out somewhere with her and we need to walk to somewhere else in any kind of reasonable time, I have to pick her up and carry her.I got this so that I could plop her in it, strap her in, and walk around with her. She can still see everything but won't have to hold her with in my arms. I was hoping that it would also attract women to come close to me so that they could pet the dog strapped to my chest and perhaps notice that there is a smiling man holding the dog, rather than just the guy holding the leash whom everyone ignores. (Although when they crouch down to pet the dog, sometimes, if I'm lucky...Well, never mind.)The carrier was easy to set up. I put on the carrier and had someone hand me the dog, and I was able to slip her right in. She weighs about 15 pounds with a skinny body and very long arms and legs. (Small hands and feet.)Unfortunately once I started to strap her in, she freaked out and started biting me. Her bites are painful and motivated by anger. I really wanted to use this carrier, so I will try again someday and see if I'm able to pull it off without losing any fingers or the lower half of my face.If you are everyone else whose own dog does not try to kill you, then this dog carrier will probably work wonderfully for you.I really like it, and I blame my psychotic little dog for me not being able to use it.Disappointed, but hopeful that she'll let me use it someday.
