It Seems to be a duplicate (Before Perko) of the original Wagemaker corporation who cast them in the 1950's and as were used on many boats besides Wagemaker Wolverines. So fine for restoration projects

Perko makes the sunfish brand bow handle, this is the same part.

I used this to replace the corroded one on my 1987 Sunfish. The holes were not perfectly in line with the old one. So, I used a Dremel to open the holes up a bit and fitted it on. Looks great and is very tight. Am pleased.

The backer plate on my Sunfish rotted out. I installed an inspection port to replace the backer. My old handle was dull and pitted, so I bought this as a replacement. It was an exact fit. Iām very pleased with this product. My boat looks like new again!

Love it, just what I needed for my older Sunfish.

This handle replaced the original one on the bow of my sunfish, exact fit including the screw holes, very sturdy, and what appears to be a solid chrome finish. Only years of salt water will tell, but this handle looks to be high quality.

Very nice finish- as good as OEM- and the screw holes match original. I have had this handle on my Sunfish for one season and the finish has held up so far. Half or less the price of original equipment. No negatives so far.

I don't recall if I ever replaced it on the Sunfish I bought used in 1971. Perhaps in the mid 1980s. But by 2019 it was the corroded mess you see above. It's chrome plated white metal. But it still lifted the Sunfish bow.Not the most corrosion-resistant metal. But $14 is cheap enough for 3 to 6 decades of salt water use.
