My inexpensive Yamaha keyboard has built in five inch speakers, but to get the full richness of tone that it generates, I had to use headphones. This speaker eliminates that need. It makes my little unit sound great! It can also take a mic and another line input. Good value, and I like Peavey from a former bass amp that I used professionally.

Bought this to use with my Alesis Drum kit. It is perfect for the room I play music in. Having my own volume control is great so that I don't drown out the other instruments and voices. I highly recommend this for anyone using an electronic drum kit.

First, if you play keyboards and are looking for a superior amp built specifically for use with keyboards in a medium sized environment, stop here. Wonderful, rich/clear sounds. I have some of my boards hooked to my iPad with 100's of voices in aps. Voices are extremely clear, so much so that those that are weaker imitations display those weaknesses.
