These are great quality biking leggings. Great compression and padding. My complaint is they run a little small. I have a large butt, and it's really snug on the waist for me. It has stretch, but not enough. I wish I had sized up one.Right now it's too cold to bike outside, but I use them on my bike trainer, and they seem like they're hold up for many seasons.

I like that these are padded so that you don't get sore after riding a bike. The style is great and they fit well.

These looked like they have been washed and worn many times. I received them just before leaving for Europe for a bike trip, or I would have returned them.

this review is for the: PEARL IZUMI Women's Sugar 21" Cropped Cycling Tights, Wide Waistband & Two Side Cargo Pockets, Reflective FabricI have multiple PI products and sadly this is not one of my favorites. While it does have a great bit of padding and feels nice on skin, but the padding is so much it feels like what I imagine a diaper feels like while cycling. Not my fave...Size is true to expectation. It launders OK, but from past experience, I'd caution you to make sure nothing with zippers also makes it in the same wash with these, to avoid thread pulls/snags! My mistake is your gain!!Overall, they are ok, but I think they are overpriced at present ($89.99 before 15% off coupon).

I've never tried cycling tights before, and I'm now a convert. Maybe not for a short ride, but they are quite nice for a long jaunt. These Pearl Izumi Women's Sugar 21" Cropped Cycling Tights are really well made and they have side pockets. These tights have a sewn in padded crotch and I'm here for it! I like the capri length, as I don't like to ride in shorts. They do fit a bit tight for the sizing, but I have heavier hips and thighs. Kind of a steep price tag, but the company is well known and seem to have a long lasting product if properly cared for.

I've always had bike shorts, never pants, but these just may convert me. I mainly ride roads and paved trails and that's where I'll be using these. They're a perfect fit and SO comfortable, much less restrictive than the shorts I've worn. I like the 3/4 length and although I haven't worn them in really warm weather yet, I think they'll be fine because the material is a bit on the thinner side and breathable.I did take off one star because the description says there are "strategically placed mesh panels" that add ventilation for riding in hot environments - mine don't have any mesh panels anywhere, but I also can't see any in the picture in the description?? It also says there is "a" pocket, implying one, but the pair I received has two pockets, one on each side. The padding is generous and covers all the right spots. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and supportive without feeling restrictive. I like the wider waistband - it doesn't curl over or pinch at all and keeps my muffin top in where it needs to be!The pockets just barely fit my phone with the case on it, but I wouldn't necessarily put it in that pocket while I'm riding. Maybe a key fob or snack bar.I know the Pearl Izumi brand is iconic in the cycling world and I'm happy to now own some of their clothing so I can maybe try to not look so amateurish out on the trails!

Pearl Izumi makes an excellent pair of cycling tights, but we didn't realize how small these tights run. My wife is a medium through and through, but could barely get these up her legs. She was pretty disappointed that she couldn't wear them. Definitely get a size larger than you normally wear! Otherwise, the quality is amazing and I would definitely purchase from this company again.

My experience with the PEARL IZUMI Women's Sugar 21" Cropped Cycling Tights has been nothing short of delightful. These tights offer both comfort and functionality, making them a valuable addition to my activewear collection.First and foremost, let's talk about sizing. While I typically wear XS, I ordered a small size based on recommendations, and I'm glad I did. I would recommend sizing up for a better fit. However, once I found the right size, the tights fit like a dream. The fabric quality is truly premium. It feels soft against the skin and provides excellent support during cycling sessions. Additionally, the wide waistband ensures a comfortable and secure fit, while the two side cargo pockets are a convenient feature for storing essentials like keys or energy bars.As someone new to cycling tights, I found these to be a great introduction to this type of clothing. They are lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for summer rides. Plus, the reflective fabric adds an extra layer of safety for cycling in low-light conditions.Overall, the PEARL IZUMI Women's Sugar 21" Cropped Cycling Tights have exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable, functional, and stylish, making them the perfect choice for both seasoned cyclists and newcomers alike. Highly recommended!
