My husband put this set together without any problems. The cushions are still wrinkled but they are starting to fill out. It's a beautiful set. We have it on our balcony and the afternoon sun shines in that direction. Time will tell how long it lasts, but for now I give it 5 stars.

This is a good-looking set that is comfortable, but I gave it 3 stars because it has not been designed to pair well with the firepit table. If something is sold as a set, I feel someone should make sure it works as a set. It feels like they got the 'firepit table' from some other vendor and just matched it up with the chairs. The wicker matches pretty well, but the firepit table was not designed to be a in the place of what would normally be a coffee table. For starters it is very tall, which means that as you're in the couch, it's in right in your line of sight. But I knew that it was tall, and bought it anyway because I thought it was convenient to have a flex use (albeit tall) coffee table and sometimes firepit depending on the weather. What I did not know is that the firepit table would have a gap near the top that shows the guts of the firepit (see image - circled in red), the grill and a set of cables/pipes). Well, because the table is high, this gap is right at eye level when you sit on the sofa. So if you're sitting out in daylight, enjoying an afternoon gathering, all you can look at is this ugly piping that is right in front of you - it's hard not to look at it! It's annoying to have spent all this money (and time in setting it up) to then not be looking out at your yard, as you had hoped, but mulling over why someone would design a seating area so I'm looking at the underbelly of a firepit. They should cover this gap up - at least on one side so that on the sofa side you would not have to see the ugly innards! Or better still, make the table lower so you don't look directly into the gap, so it's below eye level.

This furniture is perfect addition to our outside area! Took a little time to put together (couple of hours, couple of days). Husband & I did it and oh so happy with the results. cushions are nice thickness, looks & feels very expensive. We get so many compliments. Firepit is nice too and puts off great heat!

Ok… I’m not a huge reviewer of products, but there are some things you should know about this furniture set. Although it isn’t going to be a family heirloom, for the price point though, I’m pretty happy with it and it should last a few seasons/years.1. If you don’t have power tools and a basic toolkit, be prepared for some sore fingertips. Things I recommend: cordless drill (a screwdriver would work just fine too), 5/32 hexagon bit, 2-3in flexible extension, 13mm deep well socket (a ratchet works fine if you don’t have the appropriate extension for your cordless drill). The little wrench it comes with is fine for holding the smaller nut(s) in place while you tighten the screws with your drill or screwdriver.2. The cushions will inflate to just about 4 inches. I recommend taking the cushions out of their cases so they can expand uninhibited. You need some patience here.. remember that they have been sitting vacuum sealed (some bent in half) bag for who knows how long. Getting the seat cushions back in their cases is a chore, but i think it was worth it.3. In the reviews, some folks state that some of the holes don’t line up when putting the furniture together. Pro tip… don’t tighten the bolts down until they are ALL in place. You’ll save yourself a lot of heartache and mental/physical jujitsu by doing this.4. The hardware isn’t the greatest quality.. just take your time and don’t over torque them and it’ll work out. That being said, each piece of furniture comes with a couple of extra bolts, keep them as you go along in case you strip one or two as you tighten things down.5. The directions aren’t the best, but after you get one piece together, the rest will become intuitive.6. Be prepared to give up about 6-7 hours to get all of the furniture/fire-pit put together.7. If you don’t have a bench to assemble the furniture on, build the fire pit first and use it as your bench. Just keep some bubble wrap on top to protect it from scratches.8. The set doesn’t come with furniture covers, I recommend getting some to increase the longevity of your new patio set. At the very least, cover the fire-pit.*Patients is the key to victory here.. grab your tools, water bottle, cup of coffee (or tea), and a positive attitude and you’ll be done in no time! Great company to deal with! There was a minor issue with my order, but Sunshine Valley took care of it very quickly and better than expected. All the pieces were in the boxes, and it assembled very well. Although it is still cold outside and we have not really used it, it seems well built and sturdy. I would not be afraid to purchase from them again in the future.

We have a smaller patio to work with and the five piece set is perfect. I love that they included ottomans and wish you could buy them separately because I would love one for each chair and one for the couch. I think the price is about right and it should last a few years. The back cushions could be a but better but those can always be replaced down the line. Overall I am able to enjoy our small patio now and I would purchase again. It looks very nice.

This patio furniture set looks really nice! The cushions are comfortable and the frame feels sturdy. The assembly was quick and easy. I love the fire pit, it will be used alot when it gets cool out, we also bought a wind guard for it. We did have an issue with a damaged piece of rattan, but this companies customer service is excellent! The whole family is happy with the new patio furniture!
