These rubber blocks are very solid and very well formed. The edges are all straight and the surfaces are all flat. They are a little difficult to cut but that is just because the rubber is so dense but they do a great job of dampening the vibrations from certain tools. I've used some to fabricate rubber feet for under a scroll saw to dampen vibrations and increase control with the saw. I have also used these as a backer to remove a dent from a metal tool box that I have and they do an amazing job of supporting the piece you are working on but giving just enough give so that you can shape the metal that's dented. Just a great, versatile set of rubber blocks to have in the shop. You'll be amazed at the uses you find for them.

Overall, 4 solid blocks that can be used for hammering.Deducted 1-star because the blocks are not as clean cut and burr-free as the product pictures and product description indicates.

I use these with a weight for pressing shrinky dinks to flatten them out after heating and shrinking. Works really well for that. Does have a bit of residue, but was able to get it mostly cleaned off. Still has a little bit, but I think I should be able to get it cleaned the rest of the way off when I get around to messing with it, and in the meantime it's not overly bothersome

These are great, very handy work surfaces for times you don’t want to damage your desk top or jewelry piece. So far all I’ve done is some minor drilling but they were awesome . They didn't move around and the piece stayed put too. Love ‘em.
