when attempting to put over athletic shoes with rubber souls, the rubber was so thin and flimsy that it ripped. I returned these for a refund.

the silicone is quite thin once it's stretched out, not sure how long it will last. Tho this protect your shoes from getting wet and slip. The large size can fit shoes from 8 -13 inches.

I got these 'PATIKIL L Waterproof Silicone Shoe Covers' to protect my shoes from getting soaked from the many downpours I get where I live.They are great for the job. They stretch right over my shoes and fit accurately according to the size chart. I've got Men's 8-10 size and they actually can stretch a little more than that. I have a 10.5 shoe and they're fine.I also have another unusual use for these in that I wear them for my exercise routine. They work great as non-slip shoe covers when you're doing various exercises. I don't slip around on smooth surfaces when I'm doing my workouts.So they give you protection from the elements and also provide a nice non-slip covering for your shoes. I can see no wrong with these things. I recommend them!
