These kill switch keychains work on my Yamaha outboard. Perhaps I'm paranoid about losing my keys overboard (I haven't, but I've lost other things this way!) but I am of the opinion that you can't have too many sets of boat keys and each one needs one of these lanyards and floating keychain. With this kind of redundancy, you shouldn't find yourself out on the water with no way to turn on the engine.

Always good to have a spare kill switch cord on hand. I like these because they have the metal clasps instead of the plastic onces that continuously break. Good quality and value for the $
