When I took the pillowcases out of the packaging, it was a strong scent. It was a flowery type of scent. It immediately turned me off, and I was going to return them. I thought if I wash them, the scent would come out, but it did not. I’m going to return them now. I don’t care if I wash them or not. I couldn’t believe it.

Perfect size for my back sleeper face pillow. It's soft and looks to be of good quality. The zipper is sturdy and hidden away.

These cases are made from a very smooth and silky fabric, with a heavy feel to it. They will be great for travel pillows or on small couch cushions. I do not recommend them for toddler pillows because the zipper has a big silver pull tab, and that's going to get pulled.The washing instructions say cool wash/line dry, but I took a chance and washed them on hot/high (because I have asthma). They shrunk a little bit - maybe half an inch in length, less in width. There is also a weird wrinkle in one spot. However, I will continue washing them in hot.

While these cases are well made, I am disappointed that the color is very like, closer to a bleached muslin. Also, these aren't permanent press and always have wrinkles.
