Pachmayr recoil pads and grips have always been my favorites. They absorb recoil exceptionally well and are extremely comfortable. this product showed up in perfect condition and fit my butt stock like a glove.

Husband not happy with me for ordering the "wrong" one. The picture clearly shows the product is brown. It is black. Also needs to be sanded to fit his Marlin 336.

It's a great padding for any wood stock - you'll have to drill your own holes in it, but that's great because then it'll fit your stock. It's a firm pad, but not rock hard- so it'll do it's job for your shoulder. If you're sensitive, put it down, it' won't be for you

I love the product, but the manufacturing sizing is way off in my opinion. I purchased the medium, and to my dismay discovered that it was way too big for the stock project I had in mind. It required endless shaping and grinding. I compared it to the size of numerous of my rifles and shotguns, and it was way larger than any that I own. The size small would have been much better....

Needed to extend the stock of a side by side shotgun, it works well for that purpose, the rubber tends to hang up on clothes so it is hard to shoulder in hunting or sporting clays situations. It should be fine for trap guns were the gun is already shouldered before the target is released. I am working on a solution for the problem. If I find one I will update my post.
