Honestly this kit is garbage. Instructions are confusing, does not work with my 2008 F250. Sub does not work, steering wheel controls don't work. Could have saved a ton of money and gone with a dumb wireing harness. Definitely not worth the money

I tried the Scosche version of this at less than half the price but it simply didn't work. For the Ford premium sound in a 2010 F150 Lariat, There has to be a bridge between your new head unit and the Sony amplifier And no amount of straight wiring or competitor brands good bridge the gap. Best impossibly only solution if you're looking to upgrade your Ford factory premium sound system to something 15 or so years newer, the steering wheel controls work now as a bonus but the fact the stereo works at all is what I'm currently happiest about (It works extremely well!).

Installed in 2016 f350. Only issue was the speed sensor wire and phone mute wasn't labeled right. Installed and every 15 seconds everything muted. Diagnosed the pioneer harness labeled mute I hooked up to the pac harness white and orange (if I remember correctly) labeled phone mute but was actually speed sensor. Snipped and capped and doesn't to anymore. Sound doesn't mute anymore when reversing but that's fine. Not an issue for me to try and figure out.

When beginning this install, the bezel that was ordered didn't have the necessary wiring harness compatible with the Sync control system on this 2013 f150. Went to the Ford dealer parts department and he showed me this interface. They didn't carry this so with this information I ordered it. Everything worked including the steering wheel controls. It also included connections from the backup light power for the backup camera trigger and the parking brake switch power. The installation manual was clear and written by someone who could actually understand English not just a bad translation of Mandarin.Would recommend this product. Delivery was two days.

Instructions were good, had been a long time since I've wired in a car audio system. Harness really simplifies process. Took me longer to solder wires together than it did to put unit in. My wife couldn't believe it was done so fast. Highly recommend these harness systems.

Used this to install an Eonon stereo in my 2012 F150. Instructions were pretty clear and straightforward. my truck had SYNC so I did lose most of the features but the unit I installed more than makes up for it. Only thing with Eonon and most android stereos are steering wheel controls can be finicky to setup. I spent about 45 mins trying to get it to work and all set and done only the volume buttons work. Not huge deal but an FYI to everyone.

Product does exactly as advertised and will allow aftermarket stereo to interface with vehicle as well as retaining all steering wheel controls INCLUDING the phone, ok, and voice buttons.-Phone, ok and voice steering wheel buttons-Anyone with a sync system will have to do a bit more work to get the phone, ok and voice buttons to work but it is possible. The instructions go over this in more detail but long story short if your vehicle was equiped with the SYNC system then the phone, ok and voice buttons will not work even when connecting the interface correctly, the rest of the steering wheel buttons will work no issue. To get the phone, ok and voice buttons to work you have to remove the cover around the steering wheel and find the connector that looks like the one shown in the instructions. You are then going to look for the blue/orange and purple/white wires and those are the ones you want to cut, depending on the vehicle they will be located at different spots in the harness, the instructions mention this as well. Make sure to give yourself a sizeable amount of length from the steering wheel before you cut so you have enough wire to work with, you will probably have to unwrap or cut the tape around the wire harness a bit to actually see the wires. After the wires are cut and visable you will need some car wire and you want to connect the steering wheel side of each of the two wires to a new line of wire for each of them, you want to give yourself some length on these new wires as they have to go from your steering wheel column all the way to behind the dash and to the radio/Pac device. Once you have the new wires from the steering wheel harness to the pac device you want to connect the wire from the blue/orange of thesteering wheel harnesss to the green/white of the pac device harness, this is pin 4 of the pac device. You want to connect the wire from the white/purple of the steering wheel harness to the black wire on the pac harness, this is pin 11 of the pack harness. After all those wires are connected the phone, ok and voice buttons that didn't work before will now work and can be completely remapped to whatever you want using the pac interface and or the stereo's own remapping. If you want the top data screen that's built in on most Ford vehicles to display the correct commands when you press them you will have to custom reprogram the controls on the pac unit itself now that you have access to the new buttons. There's a little light on the Pac device that flashed when a steering wheel button is pressed, this is your first indicator to show you that you wired everything up correctly and the buttons work now. The step about needing to run new wires is the one thing lacking in the instructions for the Pac device.-Boss stereo's-Boss stereo's are not listed on the number radial that you have to set for whatever stereo you have. If you have a Boss stereo you want to set the radial to #7, this is the one that communicates with Boss units. Some Boss units you may be able to custom map the settings in the stereo itself reguadless of what the radial is set too but a lot of Boss units thr custom SWC remapping doesn't actually work at all.-Atoto-Atoto stereos are also unlisted on the pac device and with Atoto they actually rely on remapping in stereo itself anyways which is nice because it means it doesn't matter what number the Pac dial is set to the Atoto will be able to read it and you can program the buttons to whatever you want using the Atoto swc button mapping. If you want the correct button commands to display when you press them on the second data screen present in most ford vehicles then will need to custom program the buttons in the Pac device as well. The instructions on how to custom program the pac controls is detailed pretty well in the instructions and is actually really easy once you understand it.Hope this helps anyone trying figure this out 👍
