I received this mini chopper as a wedding present over 14 years ago and it just recently broke. I went looking for the Oster mini chopper on Amazon and was able to find the exact same mini chopper as I had before. If something lasts 14 years without any issue, I’m definitely going to buy it again. The chopper comes with a high and low setting and the blade is extremely sharp. You can chop nuts in it without issue. If you use the high setting, you can chop things down to a very small granule level. This is a great quality product and if you want something to last, I highly recommend you purchase this mini chopper.

bought this in early march 2023 to replace same I had for 10 years before it stopped working. Put in dishwasher tonight , never had problem before and supposedly dishwasher safe. Well, lid melted . I regret throwing blade,bowl and lid away from my old one. have sent message to amazon seller but won't hold my breath that they will replace. today is april 28th. should of lasted longer.

I wore out the first one I bought and was so happy to find the same chopper on line. I love the larger size basket. My Grandson and I like to make smoothies and it is just the right size for the two of us. Now I am making baby food for his little brother

I love this little chopper - I'm reading the negative reviews and aside from complaints about buttons that didn't work (which weren't a problem on the three I bought), I think the reviewers are expecting too much from a mini chopper - if you have the right expectations, it works very well - it not only got me started making food at home again (olive tapenades, pistachio cakes), it also came in handy when my mother stopped eating because she couldn't chew very well - we put her steak in the mini chopper - mixed the chopped steak into mashed potatoes - and she could eat again - I've also made fresh whipped cream for my father's cupcakes - in sum, this little machine has saved me and my family in the kitchen! This is a great product, and very reasonably priced. I bought one for all three of my daughters as well. It has a large enough capacity to handle chopping for any meal for four. It washes easily in the dishwasher. It doesn't take much space on the counter. It is quiet. It comes with this handy "blade" that makes whipped cream in seconds. I have arthritis in my hands, so dicing and mincing occasionally hurt. I just cut my veggies into one inch cubes and I can have chopped or minced in seconds. I highly recommend this chopper.

the 1.one broke down after only 6 months: such a shame because it does work great a. has more power then others I have had: it was great while it lasted! It was replaced and again, with great disappointment I must say the replacement could not even be tried out since the motor jammed. IT too was replaced with another one, which I could not even get to start since the lid was so hard to open that it took 2 hands to try to even get it started. I returned with great disappointment, after plenty of upset and frustration and this time I asked for my money back!IT would be such a great little machine IF it would last and if a replacement would work! Complaints are answered with endless meaningless empty rhetoric oozing with high praises for their product and how sorry they are for any “inconvenience” caused, that the product did not work! IT is obvious that they do not mean a word they say. THEY REFUSE to take complaints serious! They will not say: "let us research our product to see if we can make improvements to show our concern for our costumers, to genuinely care about complaints they have!" I contribute this immense lack of quality (even though it is inexpensive) to the massive greed to produce something for gain only: not for the satisfaction of the costumers! I cannot say I hated it, but I do hate being deceived and cheated out of a product from a company that ones did care to give us quality because they CARED for the costumers! THAT TIME IS OVER!
