We had to modify a motor for a fan and could not use the original that came with a motor. This fit the bill and worked out for us, I only wish since this will be outside it had a rubberized coating.

Was able to make it work, but I had to route the cable through a 180 degree bend. It was super stiff like that, but I was able to make it work anyway. If you can get a straight shot from your handle to your carburetor, this will work perfectly. If you need to snake the cable around a bit, it will probably bind.
