Nice, well engineered fuel shut off valve for those situations where you need one. Works well & looks like it will last a while.

This is a very good fuel shutoff valve.....much, much better that those crappy plastic ones that usually don't work or stay together very well. This one cost a little more, but in my opinion is well worth it. Last thing you need is a fuel leak near the hot mower motor. Would recommend!!!

Bought this shut off switch for my zero turn mower. The mowers carb was constantly running fuel after the mower was off. Prob a stuck carb float.Anyways, I didn’t want to risk having fuel in the crank case again, mixed with my oil.So, now I just shut the switch off and let the mower run outta gas when not in use. That way, I know I won’t have that issue again. This was the best quality fuel switch I found on Amazon.Note that it didn’t come with hose clamps. That would have been a nice addition.

WAY better then the red and black plastic shut offs and you can get a good clamping action on the hose using either worm gear or EFI clamps. Because this is fairly substantial, you can easily zip tie it in place or make a small attachment bracket for it. I think this is my 3rd one I have ordered.Best of all, no leaks! A picture of one install on a B&S, using zip ties, you can easily reach this from the driver's seat on a lawn tractor. On a Kohler, I made a metal bracket and bolted it to the top of the engine.

Used as a valve for my throttle body coolant shut-off. This valve did not leak at all when the truck's cooling system was at operating temperature (had one side open at the time with valve closed and no fluid passed). Might be expensive but I needed something with excellent reliability.

This fuel line valve was purchased to replace a plastic version that leaked. Not a good feature to leak fuel over a hot engine. The metal version appears to be well made and is worth the extra cost to get quality.

EXCELLENT QUALITY in-line fuel shutoff. MADE IN USA. VERY sturdy. Ultra-easy to install. There is NO ISSUE WHATSOEVER with the red plastic sleeve on the shutoff handle interfering with complete shutoff as another reviewer indicated. I tested that several times. I used hi-quality hose clamps available at any hardware or big box store. This miniature ball valve works like a champ. Manufacturers should NEVER sell power equipment without this valve installed so as to avoid stale fuel problems in the carburetor. However to save a few bucks most do not install one. Installing this valve solves that problem. Shutoff the valve and run the engine until it's completely starved of fuel. Done! I posted a few photos. Enjoy!

I work on small engines, and as such, I like to buy fuel shutoff valves, they allow you to shut the fuel flow off from the gas tank, so you can easily work on a carburetor. They are also great so that you can burn the fuel out of the carburetor, when putting up an engine for winter storage. The problem I have with the plastic ones however, is that they always fail after a few years.I purchased these, because I felt that they would last longer, beings that they are made of metal, not plastic. I have 2 of these so far on 2 pieces of equipment, and they have been working perfectly. The movement of the fuel lever is very smooth. Attaching them to 1/4" rubber fuel line is very easy. I highly recommend these, 5 out of 5 stars!
