Hey old Harley riders get a load of this. I got a 40 year old sportster and the wheel bearing races needed replaced. so the one store had a 125 dollar puller,LOL!~! the other store had one for 55 dollars LOL!!! and it wouldn't be delivered till June. This one came in two days and fit the race perfectly and held tight all the way out. I think it took me 10 minutes to pull both races !!! WOW!!! Don't have a press so I used a big hammer and an impact extension. It will fit other bearings and races as well . solid tool well made and fits the race perfectly. I don't know who designed it but thanks , I hope you sell a million of them.

Some of the more field expedient forms of removing a race would be trying to catch the race with a punch, or maybe all you have is a screwdriver, moving from side to side with the load usually at an angle to maintain decent contact. Installing this adjustable tool allows one to catch the race on opposite sides and then put some more direct force in a straight direction. Don't over tighten the tool to hand up on the frame. Nice tool when needed, and it isn't terribly expensive.

I needed to have a bearing removal tool that could be inserted down inside the bearing and then expanded to grip the inner race and pull the bearing out.This tool did a great job of slipping into the bearing and then expanding to grip the inner race as I had hoped. Where I struggled was having a way to actually "pull" the bearing out of the housing it was pressed into. The tool has horizontal pins that come off of it that you could possibly use prybars to hook and pull that way. In my application, there wasn't room for that. Normally I would use a slide hammer, but this tool doesn't provide that option.I had to fabricate welded loops that wrapped around the pins and adapted to my slide hammer. The tool worked flawlessly after that to grip and remove the bearing. I'm not sure I would have come up with another option without having this in the arsenal.I know this isn't necessarily what this tool is supposed to be used for or how it is supposed to be used, but often times we have to take a tool and make it work for us. Just know that this tool can be adapted to work for you and it holds up very well.

Handy little tool for getting those bearings out with damage other components. Easy to use and good quality. I would recommend!

This tool was a god send today.A customer brought me his Valkyrie Trike to get a "rake" kit installed.That involved new triple trees as well as installing new bearings.I started off getting the puller above the race, even though the space available was smaller than the lip on the puller, but as I tightened it, it started pulling the race on its own by pushing the race out, and giving the puller a full grab on the race.Two taps and the weight started helping pull the race out.The lips are short enough they did not rub on the neck and fight its way outI cant tell you how happy I was I had this tool today, it works as intended and held up fantastic, would highly recommend if you need to pull motorcycle neck bearings

I had to modify the puller to hock the bottom of the race. The edges are rounded and won't catch.

Was shocked how well it worked for how inexpensive it was. Used it on a few different motorcycle lower steering races and it knocks them out every time
