Spraying it went well on new wooden fence. Now 3 months later seems to be fading off.

Terrible quality. Returned it and purchased Thompson's wood sealant like I should have done in the first place. Tried to save a few bucks and I should have known better. As the old saying goes: 1 in the hand is better than 2 in the bush.

I just sprayed several packets of this stuff using a motorized sprayer and it worked really well. I used a Home Depot two gallon bucket and sprayed directly from that.It applies well, dries predictably, and looks great when it is done.. I don't know how long it'll last but so far it passes the bead test with flying colors.I applied it to a two-year-old wooden fence some wooden benches and several other wood projects and it looks fine. The thing about this is that it's easy to apply and easy to clean. I used Dawn dish soap and a bucket of water and everything I was using came clean in a jiffy.I'll have to see how this works out long-term, but for now I'm very happy with this product

I have over 500 linear feet of Fence, of which I want to keep for as long as I can. I decided to seal it this year since it was just installed 2 years ago. I purchased a can of another brand which gave about 1.25 gallons for $20. I was testing easability to put it on over the cost per foot. I thought it was ok for the cost when i did the math I would need about 19 cans from the other brand. SO I decided to look around for something cheaper!!! This is when I came across this Olympic, it was as if this was too good to be true so I read the comments (like you are doing now). I purchased just one to see how well it went on and coverage. To my Surprise , this went on so much easier with a chemical sprayer over the other stuff, and almost doubled the amount of fence I was able to get coated by almost 2 times!!!! This was so nice to finally able to complete a project without breaking the bank. if we do the math 19x$20= $380 where as the Olympic only requires 9X8.79(MSRP no discounts added) = $79.11!!! a savings of over $300 makes it easy to finish the project $80 to insure my $9,000.00 fence will stay rot free for as long as possible..you Can take my word on it, that this product makes 2 times what those others in a can give you. It goes on easily with a chemical sprayer, and is not as thick as those Can products. One tip If you are going to use this product with a pump chemical sprayer, and more than one bag to complete your project, I would recommend looking into getting a battery operated Pump Sprayer. you can find them in just about every tool store. just Pick the one you current have batteries for in your power tools this will insure you dont lose the charger and will have extra batteries in the event you run out of juice. gettin one of these will help you from constantly pumping the sprayer to keep pressure up and keep the spray even. an electric sprayer mitigates this as it keeps the spray exactly the same from start through finish.Overview:best in coverage ofCost less for total product2 times coverage over the other CansUse a chemical Sprayer (my preference is the Green company electric Chemical Sprayer)I hope this helps make your decision easier...

I needed to replace a few bricks in the chimney. I had waterproofed it a couple of yrs ago with a different brand. If’s held up, however I decided to try this. I also read it should be done if needed, every couple of years. I did find certain areas had to be redone. Made way too much, so also went around the foundation. It’s easy to use & seems to be doing the job. Great value to boot!

By far the least expensive deck sealer I've found, easy to mix, inexpensive, and water is beading up pretty well after just one coat (applied with a little battery powered sprayer). I'll add another coat 'just because', given its reasonable price and ease of application. No idea on longevity, but does shed water well. I don't pay attention to scratch resistance, because I don't want a deck sealer that sits on the surface like paint. This product barely alters the color of our treated southern pine deck boards (a huge plus, for me).

Great stuff just used it this year, intend to coat my deck every spring. Easy to apply. Does not matter if you do not put down evenly, a little lighter here a little thinner there, looks great when it dries. Would be ten stars if next spring it makes the deck easier to clean. I am revising my rating from 5 to 4 stars. Over the course of. the season I found scuffed up areas, Probably from moving chairs. Next spring I will save a little to cover these areas and see how that works ok I will go back to 5 stars.

Update after two years, 3rd coating.. I used even less than I did last year. Water beads nicely before third application but decided to go ahead anyway as replacing decks are no fun. As mentioned I started with dry treated new lumber. After two years it is still a light gray /brown and shows not sign of deterioration. I like that this is water based and I am not paying to ship water. Easy to mix and put down. I was a very hot Memphis day when I applied.. it dried in an hour as promised. To be safe I put the chairs back in four hours. Will apply again next yearGoes down real easy. Little odor. After a month water is beading nicelyUpdate 1 year later: note last year i put down new treated wood. I let it dry out for 3 months before applying. It took quite a bit of the product. After one year the wood still looks nice with a light grayish color. Water still beads. I applied this year with about half the amount.Product is easy to mix, apply (pressure sprayer), and clean up.After one year the wood looks good and water still beads up
