I was leary ordering ornaments online because I'm picky about how they're painted, especially at this price point. These Old World Christmas ornaments have not disappointed me yet! I've included some pictures so you can get a better idea of it. They are not as blue as their picture suggests, but do have blue on them. I'm a bird watcher and these ornaments are the most realistic ones to me.It came well packaged and in an Old World Christmas box. I love it and am happy to include it in my glass bird ornament collection!

When this came I was impressed by the beautiful "old world" print on the box and the ornament was well wrapped in bubble wrap and sealed with a label. This was to be a special gift for a friend who was leaving soon to visit her new granddaughter and family. This beautiful bird is part of what symbolizes her baby granddaughter. Its design was perfect! BUT it's execution was flawed. There was a clear glue drip that traveled up to the head from the feet/clasp. It must have been positioned upside down for a time while the glue dried and it made the drip that dried in place. So unfortunate! This showed negligence in quality control. It should never have left the work bench. I wish I had taken a photo but was such in a hurry to wrap and get it to her before she flew out for her Christmas holiday.She loved the beauty of the bird as it was intended to be but I promised her I would be getting a replacement.I just don't understand how the glob of glue got by an inspector.So--if you order you will be very pleased with the packing and presentation which is fitting such a beautiful glass bird. I just hope it is inspected before packaging.
