These springs absolutely have no”spring”. You might as well put wood blocks between the axle and frame. I’m going to back to Skyjacker. They’re way better riding springs.

I purchased a set of these for my 1st Gen 4Runner from Desert Rat off-road. I was concerned about maintaining my highway ride and handling and made it clear to the sales Rep that I am not an Off-Roader and was only interested in fixing the well known 1st Gen. 4Runner rear-end sag and pulling a light 16 Ft boat. The Sales Rep assured me the leaf springs will settle after awhile and I will maintain my highway ride and remove the rear end sag bringing the stance of the 4Runner to level. After toting around 800 Lbs. of sandbags for months there was no change in the ride or stance of my 4Runner. The ride was softer with the sandbags but when I removed the sandbags the ride returned as the first day I installed them. The leaf springs on this application (4Runner) is outright Dangerous, while at highway speeds navigating corners the real wheels will lose contact with the ground/wheel hop due to these springs being so still and do not have the ability to absorb bumps, potholes Etc. I Contacted Desert Rat and the manufacturer ARB and went round after round with them. Both companies made excuses after excuses and finally stated they couldn't do anything about it. They both lost a lifetime customer for $236.00 You are better off welding you axels to your frame than buying/installing these leaf springs.
