This is a particle board item that has a cedar colored fake wood as the top layer. The areas where the item gets sanded you can see where the sander broke away at the plastic finish. The particle board is visible upon installation- so it is cheap looking.

Easy install when you replace the wall plastic plugs and the screws they include with the product. Expected since the manufacturer has no idea what or where you are attaching the product.

I got one rack but it wasn’t enough to hold all my rods so I got anther rack. The best thing about this is they connect together to form one larger rack, great design.

Overall, this is a pretty good deal. It hold plenty of poles, is nicely adjustable and is well built. Hanging everything so that it nicely aligns takes some measurement, a decent level and some planning (particularly if you are a little OCD about such things), but it wasn't too difficult. The "fish" upper portion is a little kitchy and looks a little "cheap," but its an inexpensive rack and, in my case, in the garage, so no big deal. A good buy.

Arrived on time and fits rods with reels. A little bit to large of hole for the ultra light rods.

I'm kind of a neat-freak by nature, so seeing my fishing rods go from piled up in the corner of the garage to being neatly organized makes me happy every time I look at this. Construction seems to be decent, and all parts fit together well. Having different size plastic clips for different size rods was nice too, although I only needed to use one size for my fishing rods. There is one wooden dowel that sticks out the side of the base that I can't figure out what its use is, but it's hardly noticeable, and may come in handy once I figure out why it's there.
