Overfilled my Oil Capacity by 16oz. - and I did not want to lift the car again (Porsche 928S). I used this to small pump to "pull back" the 1/2 quart. Pulled Dipstick - inserted small tube, bottomed it out. Pumped the Oil back into an oil container - worked like magic.Drawbacks: It took 20 minutes from start to finish. If you can deal with a slow pump - then this is Golden.Pros: You can use it to pump oil "into" the transaxle as well.

I used this little pump to suck out the oil and coolant that leaked out into the intake valley on a 2016 Cherokke when chaning the oil cooler. When the seals fail on the oil cooler, it starts to leak oil and the oil fills up all the little cavities on the top of the engine. Coolant leaks out too when you remove the cooler. Quite a messy job, but this little pump helped suck up all the fluids and get the engine cleaned up quick. I also have a boat that I plan on using this pump for oil changes too. Make sure you don't run this pump dry. It sounds like others have had problems. I read their reviews and didn't want to damage the pump so I primed it with a little oil before I started to use it so it was lubricated right away. It's probably wise to plan on adding a few drops of oil into the pump right before using it every time you need it if you want it to last a long time.

Worked great for the warm ATF extraction from my RAM. I would have liked to have the suction hose about 2 feet longer. It took nearly the entire length of the tube to get down the dipstick tube. I had to use a bungee cord to hold the pump in place due to the tube length. It was noisy, the fluid came out with bubbles. It took about 5 minutes to suck out one gallon of AFT. The good news is that I won't be spilling that gallon of ATF on my garage floor when I drop the pan to change the filter. The power cables were stretched to the max to get from the dipstick tube across the engine to the battery. Like someone else commented - get over that it is a cheap unit - it did the job for me!

Used for oil change on antique marine engine. Gets the job done but not at the liter/minute advertised.. Hoses were coiled and fastened so tight that they were not usable until warmed up significantly to remove kinks. Pump did require priming before first use. Seller said instructions for priming were on video, but I could not find same. Try using the larger of the pickup tubes if possible. When I first used the smaller one, the volume pumped was minimal. Will hopefully be a useful long-term tool.

After 20 minutes slurping one quart of warm 5w30 oil, I threw this cheap gadget in the trash. This thing compares poorly to a manual pump which is much faster and will not burn up in 30 min per instructions. It would have taken an hour for this thing to remove 6 quarts from engine.

I ran the riding mower for a minute to get the oil a little bit warm then turned it off. Then it suctioned the oil right out. I had to move the line around, up and down a bit, to get it to find all the oil. Then I removed the lines and ran a bit of gasoline through the lines to clean it up.The hose clamps that came with it are junk and one broke. Fortunately the fit was tight enough that it didn't seem to need the clamps. It is worth the $20 or so not to have to drain the oil from underneath the mower each time.

I bought this pump to assist with draining my engine oil. Last time I changed the oil, I "stupidly" over-torqued my oil drain plug (while in a hurry) and apparently stretched the plug threads making it impossible to remove it. I needed to change the oil and thought this would would allow me to do that without having to change the oil pan right away. This worked great!!! I've been changing my own oil for 40+ yrs and always had to jack up and crawl under the vehicle to loosen/tighten the drain plug (not drop it in the oil), place/remove the drain pan and clean-up the oil mess that almost always occurs!!! This is my new method going forward.

Look what can I say about this little pumpy thing,I was a little sceptical at first, and shall I say quite scarred to use it on my one, I thought it might drain the juice out of my ones battery,So I ordered another product from this place, it was a car battery jump starter, i decided to suck the filthy oil out of my ones inners, I slid the thin tube down the dipstick tube and fired up the beast, a little over five litres sucked out of her in under 5 minutes, I was buzzing my tits off, five litres of mucky liquid, I changed the oil filter and topped her up with the golden stuff, she's now purring like a kitten, thanks to this little pumpy thing.God bless you.🙏
