Regular oil changes are vital for push mowers and lawn tractors. Change the oil after 5 hours of use for new mowers, then at least once per mowing season or every 50 hours, whichever comes first. It extends lifespan and ensures optimal performance.

To Avoid The Steering Linkage Pressing On The Oil Drain Valve When The Machine Is In Use, Leave A Suitable Place To Install The Oil Drain Valve.

What a piece of crap, removed old one and installed this, looked ok no visible leaks. Closed up for the night looked at it in the morning, wow, quart and a half of oil on the floor. No need to drain engine was empty. Removed and could not see anything wrong, reinstalled and just a small seep, thought it would be okay. Ha, two hours later another quart of oil on the floor. Removed this piece of junk and installed a 5 inch pipe with cap, no more leaks. Disassembled it and found o rings did not seal properly, go back to the old style or straight piece of pipe and you will be happy.

I strongly suggest you do not buy this product. I had a small leak from the valve on my spare mower so I bought this to replace it. I put the new valve in and filled with oil. It seemed to work and was not leaking so I stored the mower back in the shed. The next time I went to use it there was a large oil spot under the mower. I checked and it was leaking from the valve which was closed. Not only did this product fail but it cost me 2 quarts of oil and put an oiil stain on my concrete floor.

installed this oil drain valve on a briggs, next morning noticed oil on the ground, new valve was leaking worse than the old one i removed had to drain the oil and replace again, big waste of my time very low quality, dont buy

I replaced the drain valve this fall when I drained the oil because the old one cracked. This drain valve leaked and did not work as intended. The O-rings do not seal tightly to the inside of the yellow plastic body, as a result, it leaks. I should have paid attention to the other reviews, don't make the same mistake as I did.

It took so much time to fit this into my Husqvarna because the oil plug hole is so close to the frame of the tractor. I had to use an open end wrench as I couldn't fit a socket over it which took time to fit my hands to line up this unit because of the small space with wires and things in the way. Not an issue with this product, but with the awful layout with my tractor oil plug location.

La pièce est cheap lord de l'installation la partie filetée a cassé et ce lors du serrage avec des longnose donc vous pouvez imaginer que le serrage n'était pas fait avec une clef . Peu de force .
