Quality of tubing could be a little better but it works great and is a sunction monster. Granted the tube has to be stiff enough so as not to collapse on it self when operatingA 10 plus

Tried to change an oil in my Carrier reefer. Took a while to suck out 10-12 liters. Overall works OK, no mess. but it is slow. If you have Termo king reefer then no need that pump, just open up by screw driver faucet and put on a hose and that's all.

I had 2 vehicles I was changing today, reviewing the scant instructions before hooking up the tubing. I see after the fact I should have looked at all the description pictures and review pictures and it might have helped.I used large output tubing to drain pan and lightly clamped it in place to prevent it spraying out under pressure. I used hose clamp on suction tube to prevent pulling in air on suction inlet. Mistake! I wound up adding a second clamp to outlet hose after pressure was high enough to push off outlet tube and spray oil all over lol.By second vehicle I was able to finish without spilling a drop.Overall pumped quickly and easy to change out the oil.I’m planning to use it to swap oil only around halfway between oil minder changes and simplify without swapping filter.

After many poor experiences with a hand vacuum pump extractor, decided to spring for this one and mount it to a 3.5 gal pail. Absolutely thrilled with it so far, sucked out my Mercruiser 7.4 in a little over 20 min. It does get warm but it is more often pulling warm fluids. Some heat sink fins on the cast ends would help but I’m not complaining.

This little pump worked perfectly, it was a little slow but other than that no complaints. Used to remove the oil in my 2004 Honda Accord before doing an oil change. Just make sure you follow the instructions and straighten out the thin tube to remove the oil or it won’t pump it out. Also, make sure that the engine is nice and warm so the oil isn’t too thick for the pump. Ran the car for about 5 minutes in 50F degree weather and it pumped out just fine. The pump itself is also relatively quiet which was important since I did my oil change with my car parked on the street at around 9pm and I live in a quiet neighborhood.

Really don't like that it doesn't come with a basic assembly diagram and it forces you to go back to the Amazon listing to see the assembly diagram/instructions. In case you are having trouble: - install the silver fittings into the pump body after pulling out the red stoppers - Install the largest diameter tube to the outflow side of the pump (there is an arrow on the top) and tighten down with hose clamp - Install the small diameter tube into the coupler fitting, then assemble the medium diameter tube into the other coupler fitting (make sure you use the correct fitting for the tube, both are same diameter on one side and then one is smaller than the other on the opposite side) - use the tube that will fit your application connecting the other end of the coupler to the input side of the pump - connect to power and insert tubes into engine and oil catch bottle, then turn on the switch on pumpIn my testing, with the smallest diameter hose, it took about 4.5 min to pump out 1 quart of oil. The hoses are coiled and you should spend time uncoiling the hoses so they don't try and coil up again and make it harder to keep in place.
