Yes, the (white), panels glow in the dark, if they've been charged in the light. It's a good practice/recreational volleyball in any case. No, the texture/grip of the white (glow), panels are not the same as the other panels - and that can affect play, but not for this level.If you do extend your play after the sun goes down, those glowing panels will be more than just a novelty.If you're in it for the fun, you're good to go (and glow).

Nice ball! Good quality. Not a "competition" ball, but for backyard fun, it's just fine.Easy to inflate.And, yes, it does glow in the dark. Haven't actually used it in a game yet, but I imagine we'll have some evening fun with the ball this summer, not necessarily at the net, but just throwing it around with the kids.I'm not expert at purchasing this kind of ball, but at $28.49, it seems like a more than fair price.

Glows really well in the dark. Comes included with a hand pump with an integrated needle. The ball handles really well and it’s not a bad ball to play with.

This volleyball has a great feel, and play with this volleyball is on par with most brands of vollyeballs. Came with an inflater that has a storage slot for the needle, it's great because the needle can't be lost. Pretty awesome. The glow in the dark feature of the ball isn't real bright but would be fun to try and play a game in the dark.

This volleyball glows much better than I expected! I held it up to my dining room light briefly and was surprised by the brightness and how long it lasted. I inflated it in less than 2 minutes with the included pump. It's been a day and it's still firm and doesn't seem to have any issues.Overall, this seems to be a decent ball for casual play with the added fun of playing in low light or after dark. I think it's a great twist for parties and gatherings. It would also make a good gift for anyone who would enjoy bopping it around in the backyard or on the beach.

This volleyball came deflated with a self-contained pump. The pump needle is actually stored in the handle so it's easy to take with you without worrying about losing the needle or it being dangerous, which I thought was an added bonus. It took less than 5 minutes to inflate the volleyball with the pump and start playing with it. The size is good, it's a good weight and comparable to my other volleyball. This one is extra fun though since it glows in the dark. Plus, the blue color is really pretty too.

This volleyball is pretty cool knowing that it glows perfectly at night. I would recommend having blacklights lining around the courts just glowing upwards to have much more fun. Other than that, this is made very well just like all standard volleyballs in the market today. The only difference is that it glows. It's not real leather and it's pretty tough to make leather glow. As for the construction of it, it's pretty good throughout. It has a good nipple opening to inflate it which doesn't just out. As for the seams, they're clean and show no adhesives from the inner ball itself. Overall, this is one good volleyball that you'd have fun with knowing that you can see it at night playing at the beach or a park. You just have to light it up with the necessary lighting to do so.

This Sportfly Official Size 5 Glow in The Dark Volleyball is great. You get the volleyball and a pump (with needle). It was really quick to add the needle to the pump, insert it into the ball, and then pump for a few minutes. Just leave the ball out under a light source and will glow brightly in the dark. This ball lit up my dark room and can be seen at night with no problem. Great for family fun and I am thinking on the beach at night will be great. It feels like a normal volleyball and does feel like it will pop with a hard hit. Great fun ball!
