I like that the molding that secures the RCA plug to the cord is substantially beefier than the original. Also, the cord is longer, making it easier to position the food being cooked. Once the food reaches the desired temperature, the oven automatically shuts off, making cooking goof-proof. The probe is spot-on when tested against a manually operated digital cooking thermometer, making it a very good value.
