It's missing the window position sensor from the original. While it will function as an up/down unit, it's disappointing to go through all the trouble of installing it only to find out it can't function like the original. On the Acura TL if you unlock it with the fob on a hot summer day you can keep the unlock button pressed and it will lower all the windows. Really useful for a hot car in a parking lot. This replacement unit can't. It also can't do the "auto" one touch up/down, you have to keep you hand on the switch all the time for it to move. Spend an extra $20 and get a better unit rather than buy twice. This isn't a matter of relearning or reprogramming the position sensor isn't there. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT !!!!!!

Removal of the original window operator was difficult getting to the window screws. A ratchet box wrench was needed.

This piece was a little more expensive but it was worth every cent. The lever that raises and lowers the window is made of metal, and that’s a big plus.

This product is as described. Easy to install. Like everyone else this unit has no auto up or auto down feature like the dorman unit I installed on the driver side. This unit however had a metal bracket that holds the glass in place instead of plastic like the OEM unit and the dorman unit. Also the treads are not as easy to thread as the dorman unit but still works ok. All in all a good price considering that the dorman unit also has problems for some for the auto up and down feature.
