The factory hubs glide on the axle, these things fit if you hammer them on with the thought of never getting them off. I have a brand new Honda oem axle too and it is the same. I think there is a quality control issue here.

Purchased these hubs for my 1991 Honda Fourtrax along with the East Lake Rear Axle.Hubs fit the axle great so no complaint.Had a hiccup with two hubs coming in separate packages but Dr. Bearings customer service was great and responsive.

the old hubs would rock back and fowarth on the axle and this fixed it before my axle splines got wore out too, be sure to tighten the axle nut down plenty tight with the cotter pin
