based on the amazon linked sizing chart i ordered a large for my 6 year old.however, when the size large came, it said "large - teen" on the tag, and it was clearly too big.i went to the obermeyer website for a proper size chart and saw that a 6 year old should have an XS.other than that, the product seems great
