I was really hopeful , but I was let down. The ink flow is terrible. It stops halfway through each word . It feels really cheap . For the price , I expected it to at least write. I threw it away . It was not worth it . Just spend the extra amount and get the better quality pen. I recommend getting the Writech one if you are a beginner like me.

**Update** I truly loved this pen. There is a screw on cap at the end of the barrel that kept coming off and eventually it let air and resulted in dry starts. Then when I changed the cartridge that piece would not thread back in place. The threading, poor to begin with, gave up the ghost. Such was my love that I tried taping it but it didn't work out. This pen started after a few scribbles and worked flawlessly until I left the nib extended for a couple hours one day. I tried squeezing the cartridge, shaking it and - because it's a proven fix for everything - cursing it. Finally, I did the sensible thing and stored it nib down for an hour. We've been back in business ever since and it has replaced my Acroball and G2 tossabouts. It's a great juicy writer. This is truly a common sense pen to have and use. I do use fountain pens while out but there can be an inconvenience factor. Not anymore. Now I'm seriously considering giving the Pilot VP a try. The placement of the clip has always put me off though and this cheapie delight has a nice, useable clip located when I prefer it.

I am a law student and typically use a Pilot VP for my writing, but it's a little big and the clip gets in the way so I wanted to try something else. I bought this in a whim, but to my surprise, it turned out to be a great pen. It writes smooth and the flow is consistent. The small rubber fitment on the end keeps the nib from drying out, even with several days to a week of no use. I actually like it better than my VP and came here to order another one.

The K016 was an amazing surprise for me. Being a fan of retractable fountain pens, I ordered this pen with little expectation, especially at this price point. This has got to be one of the best values in the fountain pen world.Being aimed at the student market, it’s plastic. The plastic is dense and sturdy. It does not look or feel cheap, however. The knock action isn’t silent but it’s relatively smooth. The way this pen seals is quite innovative. The opening on the section has a rubbery circular membrane with a slit. The nib emerges through the slit and retracts back inside. The seal is very effective and the nib hasn’t run dry. This pen has written first stroke, every stroke. This pen is ready to jump into action with a fast click, and off you go, with a smooth nib, for quick notes or long writing sessions in comfort.Four ink cartridges of ink are included, and one empty. The empty cartridge is for filling with your choice of bottled ink, or ink sample vials. Easiest way to fill is with a syringe or pipete. They are very sturdy and will refill many times. You cannot use a converter. Simply fill their cartridge with a blunt syringe.Reverse writing works very well. It’s a light pen, weighing 14g inked. Highly recommended and lots of fun. I’ll be gettIng more colors.

I purchased this to try out a retractable fountain pen before possibly spending the money on a much more expensive one, like a Pilot Vanishing Point. While there is obviously no comparison between the quality of the two, I wasn't sure if I'd like a retractable fountain pen.The OASO pen is nice quality, especially for the price. The click of the button feels satisfying, the nib wrote well right out of the box, the plastic doesn't feel like the cheapest of the cheap. Most importantly, it doesn't seem like it will dry out too quickly after not using it for a while.I cleaned out an included cartridge and filled it with Diamine - Onyx Black and threw this pen in my purse as an EDC pen. After not using it for a few weeks, it started writing immediately.Overall, if you want a retractable fountain pen but don't want to splurge on an expensive one, give this one a try.

This pen is pretty great. I had my doubts with it being cheap but I was very surprised. Writes great even if it is a tad bit scratchy, but, I'd say that what come with using a fine tip. Ink carts are pretty easy to find and they provide a cart to fill with whatever ink you'd wish to.In my experience the nib stays wet, even when not used for a few days to a week. It grips well(if you like the triangle grip)All I can say is that I'm amazed by this little retractable fountain pen that doesn't cost a fortune.

I was really suprised by this pen and figured I was throwing my money away when buying it but I was totally wrong. I bought another click-top cheap fountain pen but it had a plastic cap that still needed to be put on otherwise it would dry out and/or leak. This pen doesn't need a cap and fully retracts into the pen. It has a nice weight to it. Despite being plastic it is significantly weightier and sturdier then my other cheap fountain pen. The construction of it feels nice and the click-top is nice, not to light or firm. I like the fine tip and it writes really cleanly. I have no issues with leaking or smears and the ink doesn't bleed on cheap paper. My other fountain pens have a habit of leaking so I am really pleased not to have ink-stained fingers.I did have trouble getting the ink flowing at first and had to squeeze the ink cartage once I had it put in to get it started then put the top half back on. Since then it's worked great. I had it dry out because I forgot to click it and retract the nib so I had to redo the trick of squeezing the cartridge to get it flowing again, but that was totally user error. It was left open for over an hour, it isn't drying out if I leave it open for minutes at a time.I like the grip, I find it comfortable to write with. I just wish it came with black ink instead of blue. I am going to buy their black ink when I am done with this cartridge.
