I have an old NuTone in-wall heater in my bathroom that decided it would not turn off. I purchased a Broan unit to replace it. However, the Broan unit just did not work, vibrated like crazy. I took a chance on replacing the thermostat in the old 20-year-old NuTone unit and it works perfectly. If you have a problem with the thermostat and the rest of the NuTone system is working, just replace the thermostat. My wife is very happy -- which is very important.

Took 10 minutes to replace. You just need a Phillips head screwdriver and a needle nose or some kind of plier to remove the retaining nut.I had my soldering station already to go.....but the wires just clip on. :) No soldering needed.
