I bought some stainless steel tubing from West Marine, and some end caps for it. Then I thought a support in the middle of the handrail was a good idea.So I bought these.Big mistake.They do not fit the rail I had bought. They are too small.So I thought some filing was better than sending them back, so I filed and filed and filed, and finally, after about 10 minutes per support, they fit.But don't buy these if you need a 1" diameter hole, because they won't fit.Zero stars for the trouble they caused me.

Had to machine the items to enlarge the opening to accommodate the 1" tubing that they were supposed to fit.The end pieces that I bought together with these fit just fine.

Good quality. Used these to help hold stainless steel tubing fit home made rod holders. Sorry I do not have photos to show.
