I gave this set as a gift to neighbors with a newborn girl. From personal experience, I remember finding that gowns and baby clothes which didn’t have legs and footies were so much easier during a baby’s first months. Babies often squirm so much that getting legs and feet into individual sleeves/leggings can be hard, and changing diapers can be a challenge. This long-sleeved sleeper solves those issues by having a bottom like a bag which knots. This lets you slide the baby in or out, easily, or just unknot and slide up for diaper changes. The material is very soft and stretchy although it is not cotton. The product page states, “Fabric type Cotton Blend.” In the smaller-print description, however, it says, “95% Polyester and 5% Spandex.” I deducted a star for this inaccuracy. I do appreciate that the set is machine-washable. The waffle-knit adds softness, although the material is a bit thin – thicker would be nice in Colorado winters. The included matching cap is stretchy and can be knotted so it is not too long.

I love the color of this. I ordered it for a baby shower for a friend who doesn't want to know the gender beforehand and the color will work either way. I ordered the "wine red", and it is a brick color in person, very nice. The buttons are a nice accent and this is very well made. The only reason I docked a star is because of how thin this is. I would never put a baby in this unless it was the middle of July in the south. If that's the case it would work, but $21.99 seems like a lot for this fabric. Other than the thinness, very soft, nice color, and well made.

It looks a little more feminine in person than in the pictures, possibly because the beige color has a pink tone to it. It’s soft and cute though!

The waffle texture of the fabric is very soft and cozy for newborns. I love sleepers that have the knotted ends because you can tie it according to their size and adjust the wiggle room they have. My babes found this very comforted as it was super snuggly. It also gives easy access for diaper changes. The sleeper is a great neutral color and the quality is nice, although I will say the material is somewhat thin. This would make a great gift for a new baby on the way or for a friend!

This knotted gown is a very nice waffle knit tjat has some stretch to it, making it easy to dress baby! It is appropriately sized for a 0-3 month old. The matching cap is very cute. I deducted a star because I think the best gowns for a bany that age have a cuff that can close over the baby’s hand to prevent them from scratching themselves. However, if that isn’t an important feature for you, then this should work well! For the price, this is a good quality and durable gown and hat set!
