This was a replacement for a factory wheel that had a slow leak due to corrosion under the coating of the rim along the bead seat. I wish I had just replaced the rim earlier rather than going through leak testing, taking the old wheel to a wheel refurbisher, trying a slimy sealant and topping up the tire pressure week after week. The new wheel cost much less than all the steps to make the old wheel work.
