Heatsinks came in on time. Kudos to the delivery driver(s). Inspected the items and discovered one where the mounting hole was not in the proper area. The pictures tell the tale. Fortunately, I'm only assembling just a few units. Otherwise, everything looks good.

If the tab on your component is less than about 1mm thick, the insulating washer makes it difficult or impossible to screw the component tightly to the heat sink. with some thin tabbed voltage regulators, I ended up drilling the threaded hole out so that it would accommodate the extra bit of the washer, and then using longer m3 screws with nuts to fasten.

It's difficult to get heatsinks wrong. Just tried it and the insulator fully covered my TO-220 package's tab, which is all I wanted.

The screws provided fit well. Works fine for smaller amounts of heat dissipation.
