Purchased this to try and keep hornets from bothering my humming birds at the feeder and it doesn't work at all. All other wasp nests were destroyed as recommended and still doesn't work. Quite disappointing as I'm trying everything to protect my humming bird friends so they can use their feeder but the hornets are horrible.

It is hanging on my back porch light, in the elements, and it is holding up. I was getting these huge yellow hornets (1 1/4" long!) and I have not seen one in my house since I hung it by my door!

I'd read that wasps could be fooled by paper bags and when that worked, I was excited. However, everyone asked me why I had a paper bag taped to my patio wall. I got sick of the questions and frankly, it didn't look great. This one works, looks better, and I get a few less questions. The only downside is getting it to stick - it does catch a lot of wind, so whatever you use, anchor it well.

I was skeptical of this product at first, but decided to give them a try anyways. Surprisingly, they worked great and kept most of the yellow jackets away. There are times one will wonder around, but end up leaving. The first set I bought ended up coming loose from the string and got lost from the strong winds in my are. The second set I ordered I made sure to tie them on tighter with a good knot. If I lose them again, I will purchase another set since they work good at keeping those stinging bucket away!

I enjoy being in the garden, however I don't enjoy wasps! I bought this to encourage the wasps to leave my yard and go camp out elsewhere. It's worked so far and my husband has commented on how durable it is. It's been through several severe storms and still kept its shape.

The product looks like it should work, and it's clearly durable. They have clear instructions and even a video on the Amazon web page showing how to assemble it.Unfortunately, the European paper wasps where I live in California aren't the least bit bothered by the decoy. They started building a nest about 10 feet away from it even though I'd hung it up under my eaves a week earlier so look for another product if you've got paper wasps.

Bought this on a whim because we had a wasp/yellow jacket problem when sitting on our back deck. I have an extreme fear of stinging insects lol, so I could never sit outside and enjoy my patio because every time there would be wasps (mostly paper wasps) flying around me! I read reviews and it seemed very mixed, but I figured for less than $10, it was worth a try. I had my husband check around the immediate vicinity to see if he spotted any existing nests (it says it might not work if you already have other nests nearby) and luckily he didn’t see any! So we hung this off of the wooden post on our deck and I swear, I have not seen a single wasp, yellow jacket, etc flying around our deck!!! I have sat outside more times this summer than I have in the past 5 years, without fearing for my life, haha! This thing is amazing!!
