This is a firsthand review of my recent trip to Joshua Tree, NP, where I spent two nights. The nighttime temperatures dipped into the high and mid-30s Fahrenheit. I used my Nemo Disco 30 sleeping bag, which has gills for heat venting and a central zipper. I found myself very comfortable even with the bag partially zipped, so I never needed to close it completely.Let's talk about the liner—it perfectly complements the sleeping bag. While I can’t quantify the exact warmth it adds, it enhances comfort. I’m worried Nemo may discontinue this liner, which would be a real loss. Other liners I’ve tried have left me feeling clammy and twisted, but this one is different. The head portion stays securely in place, making it feel like you’re sleeping on cotton. I can only imagine how much warmer a higher-rated liner would be. If you're considering your options, I highly recommend this combination!

How are you to get in and out of bag ?? A side zipper would have solved the problem. Lots of $$ had to return. ( or even partial).Unless you do not need to get out and stay in one spot all night, not practical when needing to make bathroom trips at night. Never used took it out of package and back in it went.

Cheaply made. Returned and got Sea to Summit liner that works perfectly with my Nemo Disco bag.

This regular Nemo liner weights 8.8 oz, which puts it in line with their competitors "Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Sleeping Bag Liner" (8.1 oz) product. Both are in the same price range.Nemo doesn't list the warmth factor but the Thermolite Reactor has similar weight and construction is "Up to 15 degrees".In comparison, there are lighter liners (silk) that come in around 5 ounces and a heavy fleece liners comes in around 15 ounces. I would not consider this a heavy liner, but right in the middle.

It’s heavy, and it completely negates the value of a spoon shaped bag (it’s challenging to get into and out of). It created a very marginal amount of heat improvement, but added a lot of constriction to movement.I found that best practice is actually to get into the liner first, the wiggle your way into the bag. I think a hook and loop closure opening would have made this much more useful.Good construction.

I paired this with my Nemo Disco 15F sleeping bag. the iso comfort rating is 24F. this allows me to be comfortable to at least 15F.

I purposely purchased this, knowing I was likely spending a lot, and not getting a great value. My expectations were met. I bought this liner because I wanted the shape to match that of my Nemo Disco sleeping bag, which it does. I cannot use a mummy bag, as it is too constricting. Unfortunately, some of the other, possibly better alternatives were either way too large with a rectangular design, or too small with a mummy design, like the Sea to Summit liners. This does add noticeable warmth, even though it is quite thin. Packs small, lightweight, so that's all good. Given all the tradeoffs, I would likely purchase again, mainly do to the size and shape being ideal. But you are paying a lot of money for a relatively thin piece of material.
