This budget headset is a perfect replacement for my old worn out headset on my vintage Schwinn Frontier. Using my headset press, installation was quick and easy and my fork now spins freely and smoothly. Adjusted properly this headset should provide reliable service for many years to come.

I've had probably 20 threaded headsets in my life and this one is the worst by a mile. It seems to have a hard time staying where I set it. It also has a hard time getting set properly. It's either too tight and binding, or it's too loose and has play in it. Super annoying, but I guess you get what pay for.

Not exactly Campagnolo quality here, but it will do the job. Complete kit. cups, bearings, cones, washers, and nuts. The top nut has a seal to keep out debris, and the lower crown race has a seal as well.The machining isn't perfect here, but it seems to work pretty well after installation. I used plenty of grease to ensure years of service. Good value for the money spent here.The head tube cups were a little loose for my liking. I applied some retaining compound by Loctite, and it is holding fast. This may not be the fault of this headset. My head tube does look worn. The steering head is tight now, and very smooth.***Update...3 months down the road now and this headset rides as smooth as glass. I had to tighten up the top nut and top bearing cone, but that is all. If it does come loose again, I will apply some Loctite, but so far so good.If I needed another headset kit, I would buy this one again.

Well made quality part, fast and cheap. I was able to save a much more expensive headset off a bike I was selling and this was a perfect, great looking replacement, works great as well.

The Weerock Neco Bicycle Headset ($10) is a budget BMX-style headset of quality similar to what I’d expect to find on $100 big box store bike (i.e., cheap).The coating quality on the parts visible after installation is decent, but there is visible roughness where the bearings ride in the cups, and the bearings feel and sound gravelly in the race. That roughness may dissipate with use, or it may accelerate bearing wear; as such, using this headset is an experiment or gamble, depending on how you look at it. Personally, I’d prefer to pay a bit more and not gamble on failure, requiring a second replacement.The cups are steel – likely stamped steel. The mating surfaces are fine, but the ends are very rough. Some of the parts have sharp edges with cut potential.I won’t be installing this headset on the chromoly BMX race frame I bought it for, but for a cheaper steel-frame bike, this might be a passable, cost-effective replacement.

15 minute installation... I've had all the same old used parts laying around in a bin for years... To save myself the headache of digging thru said bin for a half hour, I decided to spend $10 buxx for all-new headset parts... Little bit of red grease top and bottom, and my fork spins like a champ...
