It's a good product and my only issue was that it was not stainable, so when I used it to fill a small gap in a picture frame I made, after staining, it left something that was obviously a filler.

Had a knick in my wood table, used as directed and stain could not penetrate the wood putty. It does not work well. The coloring also is so far from any wood color it just was not a great kit.

The paste is white, so covering it with the stain is a little problematic. The stains they offer are great, though…also a paste, but mixable. The little kit which comes with it is nice…but they should tell you what to clean the brushes with. Paint thinner seems to work.

On the Positive side, this comes with several colors that you really can mix to match your word. On the negative, you can’t sand once you have stained because the filler is white.I had several projects and it worked for some but not all.
